Here are two trends I'm all over now, both on very different ends of the budget spectrum. The top photo is a new line of sticky tiles...now before you roll your eyes and head off to another design blog, I would NEVER install these in a clients home, BUT they are wonderful for staging or other applications like apartment living or vintage travel trailers. They are inexpensive, easy to install and can be removed with little to no damage to the walls underneath. The bottom photo is another design element I am all over these days, in both bath and kitchen designs. I LOVE tiling an entire wall, from floor to ceiling, with subway or glass tiles. In a dark space, glass tiles serve as a major reflective surface and, most importantly, help to open up an otherwise drab space. While glass tiles can be expensive, tiling one wall makes an incredible statement. So, whether you need to stick to a less expensive budget or want to shoot for the moon, head off this weekend and get creative!
