For whatever reason, I felt the need to raise my hand and point a critical design finger at something that has bothered me for years. I do not now, nor will I ever understand the point of countertop mounted sinks. When someone asks me about them I simply reply with, "have you ever used one?" In my humble opinion the design of this type of sink makes zero sense. In public applications (like in a restroom), men wearing suites get their sleeves soaking wet when bending around the wash hands. In residential applications, have you ever tried washing your face in one of these? It's like dipping your face into a bucket of water. SO, to wrap this little blurb up..don't top mount! Got it?
