A ROOM FULL OF TARTS

DON'T BE TARTY FOR THE PARTY!
Whether you're hosting a Superbowl party or a more formal event, a Sunday afternoon brunch or an evening with the ladies, serve up some tarts because these babies are a guaranteed hit!
What you'll need to get TARTED:
1 Package of puff pastry we found in the cold food section (by the Pilsbury dough) in a red, flat box. (defrosted and sliced into cubes or triangular shapes)
4 cups thinly sliced yellow onions
3 cloves of garlic (minced with salt and pepper)
3 tablespoons white wine
1 package bacon (cooked and chopped)
4 ounces goat cheese (like Montrachet)
1 large tomato (cut into 4 slices)
Good Olive Oil
Line baking pan with parchment paper and place puff pastry (after slicing). Preheat oven to 425. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add onions and garlic. Saute for 15-20 minutes until almost all moisture is out of the skillet. Add salt and pepper, wine and continue to cook until onions are lightly browned. Place goat cheese and tomato on top of onion. Place tomato in center of tart and sprinkle with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes until pastry is golden brown. (Ina Garten in her BACK TO BASICS makes an equally easy and delicious recipe)
