JUST FAKE IT THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

Aren't you tired of pretending you like the fruitcake your Aunt Bessie brings to Christmas eve dinner EVERY year? Or maybe you're sick and tired of Aunt Nancy buying you a dickie in every color year after year. Possibly, like many, your over faking it with your husband...well, here's a little solution to make your holidays bright, cheery, and fun....go ahead...FAKE IT! Our parents probably told us they were tacky, your friends once would've made fun of you and to buy one, well, you'd have to swoop into a dark store wearing a wig and glasses, but not anymore! Fake Christmas trees are not only politically correct (especially if you run in Al Gore's circle) but are hip, trendy and add a unique splash of fun design to your home for the holidays. While I love a real tree in our living room, I like adding smaller, colorful trees around our house. I don't go Martha Stewart crazy and have themed trees with stuffed birds and $100 bills hanging from the limbs. Instead, I head to Urban Outfitters (www.urbanoutfitters.com) where they have fun, inexpensive, colorful trees ranging from 18" tall (for $15) to 36" tall (for $25). They come in pink, white, red, purple and various shades of green and I guarantee, if you fake it this holiday you won't feel so blue!
