BENCHMARK OF QUALITY
Finding quality pieces of furniture can be as difficult as searching for a needle in a hay stack. Designing a tight space in Manhattan for a big ego with multiple personalities can be just as challenging. When pushed into a tight corner, what do I do? Design the hell out of it! This weeks Princess lives high above the clouds in 500 square feet of storage-free bliss...the only problem, she has enough books to fill the New York city library! So, I headed down to the local flea market, dusted off the bugs, picked up three benches, painted them bright white, nailed them together and created a simple, beautiful storage unit fit for a queen!
TIME TO COMPLETE TASK: Three hours
COST: three benches found at a local flea market: $25.00
STRESS LEVEL: Shelving my frustration for no storage: LOW
