POWER STRUGGLE

Dear Diary,

Today was the twenty-ninth straight day of rain and I'm starting to get a little sick of it! When Joe convinced me to move to New York I never thought living an hour north of Manhattan would feel like Vietnam. Ticks, mosquito's, suffocating humidity, and sweltering temperatures are just part of the struggle...when we lose power with every passing shower, I want to slap my face off! No lights, no water, no computer, no noise...just hot, wet summer starts to feel like a bummer! To survive the dark nights I headed out and purchased a few bright lights!
