FLIPPING OUT
This weekend I started flipping out over the amount of money we're spending fixing up our house. With the holidays approaching I'd rather spend less cash on insulation and more on cashmere to keep us warm. The days of wishing for a Tonka Truck, Swatch watch or Barbie camper are long gone. Our priorities have changed as fast as the weather in the northeast; If we made a list for Santa it would include drywall, plywood, insulation, plexiglass and firewood. As I was flipping through the pages of This Old House magazine looking for tips on installing geothermal heating systems, I happened upon a great gift idea: the Flip Video camera. It's small, easy to use (can be used as both digital camera and camcorder, attaches to your television or computer in one easy step and fits in your pocket) and is an incredibly inexpensive gift for the techie in your life! Visit http://www.theflip.com/ for more information and stop flipping out! (Thanks to Joe's generous gift, I use the flip camera to record my cutting edge, award-winning video blogs!!)
