STEEL THAT LOOK!

She might still be good as new but an old face is not a pretty one to look at! In a competitive world you've got to look your best, so if you're rough around the edges consider getting a facelift. It's cheaper and less painful than you'd think! A few shining pieces in our kitchen (and good for the resale value of the house) are our stainless steel appliances. While they tend to be a bit more expensive, they're popular, clean and showing up everywhere. If you want to breath new life into your tired kitchen but don't have the cash to purchase new appliances, paint them! It's an easy operation: Head to your local home improvement store and purchase a can of appliance spray paint (if you aren't crazy about stainless steel they come in an array of colors) and spray away the old! HINT: some dishwashers from the 70's, 80's and 90's have hidden panels. Open the door and check for screws along the side...unscrew..usually companies like GE and others have multiple-colored panels hidden inside the door.
TIME TO COMPLETE TASK: One hour (30 minutes to paint, 30 to dry)
COST: $8.99 (I prefer Thomas Liquid Stainless Steel Paint)
STRESS LEVEL: Low
