CAULKUS
Whether you're a Democrat, Republican, Independent or just don't give a hoot, chances are we all have one thing in common..cracks! How do Joe and I take care of ours? We shove a little toilet paper in them and fill them with caulk! Try it, you'll love it!
HERE'S HOW WE CLEAN UP OUR CRACKS:
1.) Adding new molding around our 100 year old windows wasn't terribly difficult but left 1/2 inch cracks between the old and new wood. To make the lines look seamless, I filled them with toilet paper (the cracks were pretty deep and initial attempts to fill them with caulk failed) to build a base then squeezed a little caulk in the crack.
2.) With a damp cloth I rubbed it smooth (caulk is next to impossible to sand after it dries).
3.) Waited ten minutes and painted.
