THE DAILY GRIND
It's back. You'd hoped and prayed a few days ago it wouldn't come, but it did. Just as you started to relax and enjoy yourself, it snuck up on you: MONDAY MORNING. If you're anything like us a cup of coffee..or several..in the morning is as routine (and necessary) as brushing your teeth and showering. We covet our coffee time...those precious moments in the morning before we head out the door to face the daily grind. To shave a little time off of our morning routine, I decided to prepare our coffee a week in advance. On Sunday evening I place each days coffee grounds in separate containers so as we head out to walk the dogs I simply open, pour contents into a filter and turn the pot on. By the time we're back from the walk the coffee's waiting. It's a little thing but the minutes add up and at the end of the day (or in this case, the beginning) those extra minutes mean everything!
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN GET A GREAT JOE JOB:
1.) Grind or scoop the amount of coffee for each morning into zip lock bags or Tupperware containers. If you prepare this on Sunday, for example, you can have coffee grounds prepared for the week.
2.) You can separate your entire coffee bags and store in the freezer or drawer (if sealed properly).
3.) In the morning, open up container and pour directly into filter. No scooping, no waiting...
TIME TO COMPLETE TASK: Two minutes
COST: Nothing
STRESS LEVEL: Your morning coffee quicker than ever: NONE
