JUST FAKE IT!

Women do it all of the time. They're too exhausted from the haste of the day to spend time coddling anything, so faking it just seems like an easy way to get it done! Why waste the time and energy if you can fake it? Believe it or not, it's trending! Fake plants...and I don't mean the ticky-tack fake flower in a white basket variety...many companies are steadfast in their efforts to bring beautiful, authentic plants to the market for incredibly reasonable prices! Now I'd never suggest filling your house, or God forbid, your backyard with fake plants..unless you live in Las Vegas or a trailer park in Oklahoma (no judgements, of course...I love trailers!!) But...peppering them around is easy, beautiful and fun. I recently designed a rooftop deck for a Woman in Beverly Hills. We spent a fortune on plants, flowers and fruit trees and two months later (the roof has full sun exposure) most of the plants had died...mainly because of the incompetence of her Gardner, but we won't point the finger of blame! So, to fluff things up I introduced lit Palm Trees from Target. We bookended her deck with one on each side and surrounded the bases with pots filled with real flowers. They're fun, create lovely lighting at night and, believe it or not, most men wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
