OH BUCKET!
There once was a girl from Nantucket, who desperately needed a good bucket! Actually, what she needed was a good place to put her bucket! In a world where our carbon footprints are growing everyday, it's become more important for everyone to do their part in cleaning up the enviornment. At home that means, at the very least, recycling. If your city doesn't provide you with recycling containers (some offer indoor bins for paper, plastic and glass. If you aren't sure google your cities website..most should provide for free) head to Target or your local gardening shop and pick up a few tin trash bins..they're easy to clean and look nice inside! For a client in Los Angeles who thought recycling was "unsightly" after slapping her, I showed her how to make it hip, clean and easy.
HERE'S HOW TO GET GREEN AT HOME:
1.) Purchase bins for paper, plastic and regular trash.
2.) Purchase board with holes and hooks from home improvement store. (I forget what the technical term is for this board but just ask for "board with holes." They'll look at you like you're from another planet but should point you in the right direction.
3.) Hang bins from handles on board..easy to remove on trash day.
4.) Take a deep breath...you're doing your part!
TIME TO COMPLETE PROJECT: One hour
COST: $15.00 (for bins) $5.00 (board with holes) $2.00 (hooks)
