JUST PEA ON IT!

Here's a beautiful, inexpensive, simple solution to spruce up a light pole, fence, or any other surface you might find unsightly. Here's what we did:

1.) It was Joe's idea, actually, so my part was minimal. I drove.

2.) We purchased a $1.99 packet of Peas in the garden section at Lowe's. Waited patiently in long line to purchase peas. Thought about other home projects we were ignoring with this little sidetrack.

3.) Got home, sprinkled packet of peas at base of light pole in our front yard, watered and waited.

4.) In no time (a few days) the peas started to grow up the pole. Once they reached approx. a foot above the ground, we gingerly tied the pea branches to the pole.

5.) Desperately try to keep our puppy, Bones, from relieving himself on the Pea pole. He clearly thinks that a "pea pole" is something entirely different.

TIME TO COMPLETE PROJECT: With drive time, one hour.
