FORCE IT!

I was recently asked if I've ever "forced" anything before...forced a sale, yes, forced someone out of my way, yes. Forcing bulbs? WHAT? I had no idea this term existed. The fine art of bringing the garden indoors in the winter is actually pretty easy. Here's what I did to bring a little sunshine into our home in January:

1.) Purchased pebbles and bulbs at Lowe's.

2.) Found a bowl that wasn't being used for popcorn.

3.) Filled Bowl with pebbles, set bulbs on top, sprinkled with water, placed in window.

TIME TO COMPLETE PROJECT: ten minutes

COST: $6.00

STRESS LEVEL: Thanks to the beautiful, flowering bulbs, NONE.
