THE MAGIC IN THREE

One of the most common questions I get from clients (other than the obvious...why am I so crazy?) is how many "elements" can you add to a room? When we talk "elements" in design, we are referring to materials, not furnishings. So, for example, in designing a small bathroom recently I brought in three tile samples. One for the main floor of the bath, one for the shower floor and one for the wall tile. Adding more makes your room look like a tile store, adding fewer (in my opinion) makes it look like a Home Depot mens room.
