THE NEW WHITE HOUSE

We've been through the grueling primary process (scraping and priming the woodwork), chosen our candidates (Joe wants a white house, I want black) and now it's time to vote. After closely examining every angle of the house we've realized the issues are no longer black and white. Who knew color would be such a major issue? A few weeks ago I climbed a ladder and scraped the wood work around the windows of our house. Last week I asked for your advice in choosing exterior colors. I learned quickly that when asking for an opinion you must be prepared to receive many. As weather in the northeast takes a drastic turn towards winter, we're pressed to make quick decisions to protect the wood from damage. So, with sample ballots in hand (swatches of colors we like) I headed to the Home Depot to purchase test gallons of various colors (both Glidden and Behr offer smaller samples for testing at reasonable prices). Hopefully we'll make the right choice!
