ROYAL PAIN

The former Matriarch of our house would have a royal fit if she saw what I did to our den this weekend. Once covered in a 1980's floral print wallpaper, reminiscent of a Floridian Funeral parlor meets sad English manor, in one short hour I ripped it down. I was worried the project would be a royal pain in the rump and was pleasantly surprised when it came down faster than GM's stock prices. Hidden underneath twenty years of royal blue flowers was a giant mess; the glue that held this room together for so many years wasn't leaving without a fight. To lighten things up I brought in the king of all primers, Bins all-in-one sealer, primer and stain remover. The jury is still out on what color we'll paint the walls, but for now these two Kings are happy to be out with the old and in with a new hue!
TIME TO COMPLETE TASK: Two hours
