Spring has definitely sprung, but from the look of things around our neighborhood brown is still trending. While I love the color brown, I'm sick and tired of seeing it every time I look out our windows. For clients feeling blue about the long winter, I decided to put a little spring in their entry way to help brighten their day. By adding simple, clean, colorful painted canvases in the foyer the mood in this tiny room, like the clouds outside, has lifted.
COLOR YOURSELF HAPPY:
Canvases are the easiest, most inexpensive way to transform a room. Usually under $10 and easy to find at any art supply store, hanging groups over an entry table, over a bed as a headboard, in a bathroom with fun messages like "HIS, WASH, NICE" can turn a room from drab to fab. By purchasing a few happy colors and taping the center of the canvases, I painted stripes of clean, spring-like colors to add warmth and light to the dark room. For far less than the cost of couples counseling, the spring was quickly back in their steps!
