MY TINI

OH HOLY NIGHT
THE STARS ARE BRIGHTLY SHINING
IT IS THE NIGHT OF THE DEAR SAVIOR'S BIRTH
OH HOLY SH*T
THE ENTIRE FAMILY IS COMING
WE PRAY NOT TO HEAR, "IS THAT ALL YOU'RE WORTH?"
Unless you're funds were managed by Bernard Madoff, tis the season to be jolly...and tipsy if you're spending it with family! If the weather outside is frightful, shake yourself a martini by the fire and let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! One of my favorite things to do this time of year is turn the lights way down low, grab some corn for popping and sip a drink with a delicious topping! If you really hold me tight, I'll show you the light...
ALL THE WAY HOME YOU'LL BE WARM!
Even the Governor of New York state could make this one it's so easy! Fill a martini shaker with ice (or, if you don't have one, fill a large class with ice and use a smaller glass to shake) add 1 1/2 ounces of Vodka and 1 teaspoon peppermint schnapps (depending on number of family members you're spending the holiday with, adjust vodka accordingly). Take candy canes, place in ziplock bag and crush with rolling pin or other hard object (great stress reliever!). Place finely crushed candy canes on plate. Wet rim of martini glass. Dip glass in candy cane mix, pour contents from shaker into glass and plop lovely cane inside for finishing touch. Bottoms up!
TIME TO COMPLETE TASK: Three minutes
COST: Bottle of Schnapps purchased from Santa ringing bell: $3.99
STRESS LEVEL: After two tini's: LOW
