THE CABINET

In the late 16Th Century the "Cabinet Council" was a group of men who delivered advice to the Monarch, usually in small, private rooms. In the United States, the Cabinet acts as an unofficial advisory, offering opinions and advice to the President on upcoming decisions. Our primarily red cabinet seemed useless until we ran out of space in our small kitchen. Facing a budget deficit after our move, at the advice of council (Visa, American Express, Capital One) I decided to give our old, dusty cabinet a second chance.
FIND THE SURPLUS:
I usually keep this nasty, old cabinet hidden in a closet used for storing holiday dishes, napkins, etc. Today, in dire need of extra kitchen space..Joe and I have enough dishes for ten families..I slapped two coats of paint on it and brought it back to life! Hint: Use gloss (won't scratch as much as flat) and don't paint in direct sunlight as the paint will gum and make a mess!
TIME TO COMPLETE TASK: 30 minutes
COST: $18.99 for can of paint
STRESS LEVEL: Room to breath, LOW
