CLOSET CASE

It's not a fun place to be, I know, I've been there! But, with a little time and effort, life in the closet can be a lot easier. You can't avoid it anymore. It's time you face your fears. People have teased you about it endlessly and you panic that someone might swing open the door to reveal your awful truth: you're a total, disorganized mess! But, that's okay. Here are a few tips for walking into your closet, dealing with your baggage, and coming out a happier person. So, take a deep breath, set aside a little time and get ready to feel proud!
HERE'S HOW TO COME OUT OF THE CLOSET A HAPPY PERSON:
1.) What's in your closet? If it's a hall closet, for example, take some time to take out all the junk (Jane Fonda would say CRAP) and look at it. What haven't you used in the last year? Torn sheets, dirty towels..don't think twice. Toss or donate them.
2.) Organize by size, color and category: Sheets on top, towels on bottom, etc.
3.) Purchase labels from discount store or, even better, P-Touch label maker from office supply. It might seem silly and totally over the top anal, but once you label a shelf you'll never forget where something goes.
4.) Visit one of my favorite sites for organization tips: www.marthastewart.com
TOTAL TIME TO COMPLETE PROJECT: 2 Hours
COST: $5 for labels
